How to track your fitness progress?
===========================
Recently I happened to meet one of my very good friend named Karthik who is a prefessional Yoga and fitness trainer who shared very good information which i would like to put across and which i really liked a lot.
I want to share an example which my instructor shared with me once: if you see a worked breaking a wall with a hammer it will be a whole day job for him as slowly he will start hitting wall continuously and will remove the white wast and then the cement and slowly you will see the bricks and when he still putts in effort by end of the day is when you see a big hole in the wall and then the wall breaks and falls down,
It goes the same with you fat burning process - you have give it time and continue to hit on never loose hope. Most people loose hope and give up when they are very near to starting to see the difference.
We have always heard from well known fitness expert that
it is not about weight loss! Then what is it about? Why are we working
so hard if there is no weight loss? This article will answer the most
frequently asked question. How to track your fitness progress?
Whenever we start with dieting we chase a number on
weighing scale which is not the right way to do it and that’s where we
go wrong. Many times we tend to give up or get demotivated if the scale
does not move. The scale weight never goes straight down. It decreases
or might even increase at time or be stagnant when you hit a plateau.
It is always a good idea to keep a track on your body
measurements and inch loss. This is what matters the most. Besides the
fact that everyone will judge your progress by the way you look not by
making you stand on a weighing scale every time you meet them.
Click progress pictures every week to compare your progress from Day 1. This is very effective when you feel demotivated.
In addition to this, while chasing a number you are
increasing your strength and endurance with each day you train. Always
compare the increase in strength and increase in your endurance level
while tracking progress.
Do you still wish to chase a no. on the weighing scale?
Or you are happy with your progress! Hope this helps you to stay on
track and work hard what you aim for. Sooner or later you will achieve
it!
I wish good luck to all the once who are planning to loose weight and stay Fit !
